This page explains how to request deletion of your Periodly account and associated data, in compliance with Google Play Store developer requirements. It applies specifically to the Periodly mobile application. For full details on our data practices, please review our Privacy Policy.
Option 1: Delete Your Account Directly In-App (Recommended)
Periodly includes a self-service account deletion feature directly inside the app. To delete your account and associated records immediately:
- Open the Periodly app and sign in to your account.
- Navigate to Settings / Profile from the navigation bar.
- Tap on Privacy & Security (Privacy Center).
- Under the Data Controls section, tap Delete my account.
- Read the confirmation message and tap Delete Account to confirm.
What happens when you confirm in-app deletion: The app invokes our backend deletion function, permanently deleting your profile details, cycle settings, period records, and daily health logs from our database. It clears your local application cache and signs you out. This action cannot be undone.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, no longer have the app installed, or experience issues with in-app deletion, you may request manual account and data deletion by sending an email:

Subject line: Periodly — Account deletion
Please send the email from the address linked to your Periodly account so we can verify account ownership. Requests are processed within 30 days.
Data Retention & Handling Summary
Here is how different categories of data are handled when an account deletion is completed:
Profile & Account Information (Name, Date of Birth, Goals, Auth identity)
Permanently purged upon account deletion execution.
Cycle Settings (Cycle length, Period duration, Regularity)
Permanently purged upon account deletion execution.
Period Logs (Start & End dates)
Permanently purged upon account deletion execution.
Daily Health Logs (Flow, Mood, Symptoms, Pain, Energy, Notes)
Permanently purged upon account deletion execution.
Server Backups / Logs
May be retained for a limited window (up to 30 days) for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance before automatic purging.
Third Parties (Google Sign-In)
You can revoke Periodly's access anytime via your Google Account security permissions.
